Head Coach Jeff Fischer is looking to improve his team's 2009 8-8 record and get them back into the playoffs. The team seems to be relying on free agency as they have had more than 30 pre draft visitors in their locker rooms. Defense seems to be a major focus as they have had visits from DE Jason Pierre-Paul, CB Joe Haden and LB Rolando McClain.
The team will also need to search for a blocking tight end with the loss of Alge Crumpler as well as a good kick returner.
Another concern for the team has to be at QB. After Kerry Collins was relieved by Vince Young after 6 games last season, Young seemed to take advantage of the situation, helping the Titans to finish 8-2. But Offensive Coach Mike Heimerdinger still has concerns when it comes to Carter. "I think he needs to become more consistent in his drops in the passes. We can't take a five-step drop when we've got a seven-step drop called. And I want to see him keep improving on his accuracy," Heimerdinger said.
